Joe “TJ" Ruiz has been a long time on air personality on KRRG-FM since the 80's. 
A born & raised Laredo native, TJ found his love for music early on performing with local bands as far back as the 60's. He is a well-rounded radio personality who has worked almost every position at one time or another and although he has been in the radio business for "A Few" years, he shows no sign of slowing down.

His hobbies include jamming with musician friends, riding motorcycles, and slowly restoring his vintage Volkswagen Bus. Currently, you can catch TJ in the midday on Big Buck 98.1 from 9am to 1pm.
